The Libertyville Little League is proud to announce its participation in the 2017 Scotts Major League Baseball Pitch Hit & Run competition! Boys and girls ages 7 to 14 years old who live within the Libertyville Little League boundaries can participate in this FREE, official MLB skills competition on Saturday, May 20th from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Odom Field. This exciting event provides young athletes of every capability the opportunity to compete in four levels of competition, including a chance to play at Team Championship events planned at all 30 Major League ballparks, and to advance to the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game! In 2016, one of Libertyville Little League’s players advanced to the Team Championship and got to compete at Wrigley Field! The Libertyville Little League is also looking for volunteers to help facilitate the local skills event. Volunteers are needed throughout the day for a variety of roles. And, each four-hour shift you donate counts toward your family’s 2017 Little League volunteer commitment! Bring the whole family for an action-packed day at Butler Lake Park! Click here to print your registration form for the MLB Pitch Hit & Run completion. Bring the completed form and your child’s birth certificate on the day of the event.
