Rustbuster baseball skills development camps provide an opportunity to build youth baseball skills and prepare for the upcoming little league baseball season. Targeted for players currently enrolled in 1st through 6th grades. The camps are designed to provide age-appropriate instruction, drills, and games covering hitting, bunting, fielding, base running, throwing, pitching, and game play situations.
Rustbuster camps are conducted in the Libertyville High School (LHS) Field House by team coaches and players. Camp participants should wear gym shoes and wear a protective cup and bring their glove, bat, and water bottle.
Sign-up for any of the Rustbuster sessions can be completed at the same time as registration for Libertyville Little League (LLL) baseball, or we offer a walk-in registration which is accepted on an availability basis only at on the day of the camp. Registration fees for the camps are as follow:

MLB PITCH, HIT, RUN SKILLS COMPETITION
The Libertyville Little League is proud to announce its participation in the 2017 Scotts Major League Baseball Pitch Hit & Run competition! Boys and girls ages 7 to 14 years old who live within the Libertyville Little League boundaries can participate in this FREE, official MLB skills competition on Saturday, May 6 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Odom Field. This exciting event provides young athletes of every capability the opportunity to compete in four levels of competition, including a chance to play at Team Championship events planned at all 30 Major League ballparks, and to advance to the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game! In 2016, one of Libertyville Little League’s players advanced to the Team Championship and got to compete at Wrigley Field! The Libertyville Little League is also looking for volunteers to help facilitate the local skills event. Volunteers are needed throughout the day for a variety of roles. And, each four-hour shift you donate counts toward your family’s 2017 Little League volunteer commitment! Bring the whole family for an action-packed day at Butler Lake Park!
